The OddRealm Adventures is an online storytelling roleplay which is kept alive and continued by the artwork in pictures made by its players, based on requests both from the OddRealm Adventures' facebook-page and directly from members on this wiki. The OddRealm Adventures cannot be considered a game as there are no winning or losing conditions, but rather a community-driven story.
The story follow different Main Characters on their respective journeys through the OddRealm, and it is completely up to the players what they will encounter throughout the many chapters. This Storytelling Roleplay allows for players to add not only their own original characters, but also characters from other fictional universes, and even characters based on real people.
The OddRealm Adventures-concept was created by Amargaard on April 3rd, 2015 when he wrote a facebook status, asking for requests in an artwork. The result became the first picture in the series. He decided to make the first three pictures before getting others to contribute, while building up the wiki and facebook-page. TableWiz helped design the wikia templates.
Lore[]
Lore is a term for "background story", and, as described in the rules, lore is law in the OddRealm Adventures. Once a roleplayer's entry in the Main Character Introduction Thread-forum has been approved by an admin, and they have posted their first picture - both are considered lore. History has then run its course and cannot be rewinded. Every picture adds lore to the universe - big events as well as small details are all part of the bigger picture.
Admins can create lore without having to add it in pictures.
